Abstract

This study aims to analyze the issues surrounding healthcare services in hospitals in West Sumatra, focusing on the challenges faced and potential solutions. The research method used is a literature review, wherein various sources such as articles, government reports, and previous studies are analyzed to identify key issues in healthcare delivery. The findings indicate that the main challenges include limited access, uneven quality of services, and a lack of competent human resources. Additionally, factors such as inadequate infrastructure and bureaucracy also contribute to these problems. As solutions, this study recommends increasing investment in health infrastructure, providing training for medical personnel, and implementing information technology to enhance service efficiency. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating strategies to improve the quality of healthcare services in hospitals in West Sumatra.
